What is a CheeseSteak?

CheeseSteaks were invented in the 1930’s, at Pats Steaks, located in the heart of South Philadelphia, hence the addition of "Philly" to the name. Originally topped with a pizza sauce,(now called a pizza steak), a real CheeseSteak today consists of steak, white American cheese or provolone cheese and even in some circles Cheez-Whiz. Simple and Tasty.

At Bruchi's we follow the tried and true history using lean thin sliced steak, fresh grilled onions and white American cheese cooked to order and served on our own fresh baked white or wheat roll.

You can add green peppers and mushrooms, sweet or hot peppers, even pineapple if you like. We'll make it the way that you like it and know that once you've tried one, you'll be back for a BRUCHI'S CheeseSteak again.

If you prefer chicken try our marinated Chicken CheeseSteak or the Chicken Veggie.
